After receiving a full-ride scholarship to ASU, I set my heart on graphic design. While there, I was elected president of the Graphic Design Student Association, landed an amazing design internship in New York City, accepted a design position for ASU, and all while maintaining one of the highest GPAs in my program.
Now as a professional designer going on 12 years, I care about building strong brands and strong professional relationships. I am naturally a people-person, and work hard to be meticulous in every project. I value teamwork—and especially the opportunity within creative teams to elevate each project through constructive feedback! I strive to solve problems visually, design with the user in mind, and to never stop learning something new! Two unique values that I bring to any design team is neat and tidy file organization, as well as a wide breadth of understanding of design as a whole—be it animation/motion graphics, print design, web design, coding/development, UI/UX principles, illustration, and large format/exterior graphic design. I thoroughly seek to understand my profession just as I seek to understand my peers.
On a more personal note, I am an animal lover and currently have two kitties names Colby and Duncan (pictured right). I also spend my free time singing in the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus as well as learning pop music on the piano.
